Your website gets visitors but no enquiries? Start with these 7 checks
Visitors but a quiet phone? Seven practical checks that fix most websites, from mobile contact buttons to trust and speed.

Your analytics shows people are visiting your website. The phone is not ringing and the enquiry form is quiet. It is one of the most frustrating situations for a business owner, and it is also one of the most fixable.
Before spending more on advertising, run through these seven checks. In our experience, the problem is almost always on this list.
1. Is it obvious what you do within five seconds?
Open your home page on your phone and pretend you have never heard of your business. Within a few seconds, can you tell what you offer, who it is for and where you work? If the top of the page is a vague slogan or a large photo with no explanation, visitors leave before they scroll.
2. Is it easy to contact you on a phone?
Most visitors are on a mobile. Your phone number should be one tap away, your contact button visible without hunting for it, and your form short. Every extra field you ask for loses some people. Name, phone or email and a short message is often enough to start a conversation.
3. Does the page load quickly?
A slow website loses visitors before they even see your content. Large images, cheap hosting and too many plugins are the usual causes. Good managed hosting and a tidy, up to date website make a noticeable difference, especially on mobile data.
4. Do you give people a reason to trust you?
People are cautious about who they let into their home or business. Show real reviews, photos of your work, your licence or accreditation, and how long you have been operating. A simple “how it works” section, with clear steps, also removes a lot of uncertainty.
5. Does each service have its own page?
If someone searches for “bathroom renovation” and lands on a general home page, they have to work to find what they need. A dedicated page for each main service, with what is included, a rough idea of cost and a clear next step, converts far better. It also helps you appear in Google and AI search for those services.
6. Is the next step clear on every page?
Every page should end with one obvious action: call now, get a quote or book a time. When there are five different buttons, or none at all, people do nothing.
7. Is your website secure and looked after?
Browser warnings, broken links, an outdated copyright year or a contact form that stopped working months ago all quietly cost you enquiries. Websites need regular care: updates, backups and small fixes. That is exactly what our Website Care plan is for.
When to fix it and when to rebuild
Many of these issues can be fixed on your current website. But if it is slow, hard to update and missing the basics above, a rebuild is often cheaper in the long run than patching it again and again. Our website packages start from $1,490 + GST and include a free .com.au or .com domain for the first year. You can also search for a domain right now.
Then bring the right people to it
Once your website turns visitors into enquiries, every dollar you spend bringing people to it works harder. That is the moment to look at Google Ads, email marketing to your existing customers, or automation to make sure no enquiry slips through the cracks.
